MountainHouse Church – Sanctuary Lighting Upgrade

At MountainHouse Church in South Lake Tahoe, we upgraded the sanctuary lighting system with a focus on flexibility, reliability, and ease of use.
The project included installing a full suite of new Elation fixtures, including KL Profiles, Fuze SFX movers, Rayzor 760s, and Six+ Bars. This gave the team a powerful range of looks and color control for both worship and community events. For architectural lighting, we also integrated tunable RGBW house lights from H.E. Williams, designed to maintain a clean, modern aesthetic across the room.
We replaced their aging ETC dimming system with a new ETC Mais Feed panel and updated architectural control using ETC button panels and an EchoTouch controller.
At the core of the system is an Obsidian NX1 console paired with a Luminex LumiNode, providing responsive, multi-universe control and a simple operator experience. All control and fixture cabling was installed and terminated by our team. We worked closely with MountainHouse to ensure the infrastructure supported both current needs and future expansion.
The system was also tied into the building’s generator power so that house lights would continue to operate in the event of a power outage.
Once install wrapped, we spent time on-site training their team and walking them through the new setup, making sure they were confident running the system right away.
This upgrade gives MountainHouse a lighting foundation that can adapt and grow with them, and one that’s built to last.
