Mannahouse Portland: A Lobby LED Wall, Audio and Kids Video Wall

Ministry at Mannahouse in Portland, Oregon extends beyond the sanctuary. The lobby, hallways, and kids check-in area all needed clear visuals, consistent audio, and content that the media team could manage without updating each display individually.
Qohr designed an integrated lobby and kids-area system that combines a fine-pitch LED wall, distributed audio, digital signage, centralized control, and a four-display video wall.
The Challenge
The project involved several spaces with different viewing distances and content needs. The lobby required a high-resolution feature display and clear audio coverage. The kids area needed a multi-screen visual system. Staff needed simple local control, while the media team needed a centralized way to manage content across the campus.
Every display, loudspeaker, processor, amplifier, media player, mount, and control point also needed to fit the architecture and the way people move through the building each week.
What Qohr Designed and Installed
1.95mm Lobby LED Wall
The lobby's visual centerpiece is a 30-panel Qohr LED wall with a 1.95mm pixel pitch. Because people view the display from only a few feet away, the fine pixel pitch helps text, graphics, and video remain sharp at close range.
A trim system gives the wall a finished architectural appearance, and a NovaStar VX1000 processor provides the video processing and control needed to drive the display.
Digital Signage and Content Control
A SpinetiX 4K media player handles scheduled and synchronized content playback. Routing and control equipment from Kramer and Allen & Heath connect the displays and audio systems, while a nearby touchscreen gives staff practical access to common controls and scene changes.
The centralized workflow allows the team to update announcements, ministry content, and event graphics without managing each screen as a separate system.
Modeled Lobby Audio Coverage
Fulcrum Acoustic RX8 loudspeakers provide audio coverage across the lobby. Qohr modeled the system in EASE Focus before installation to evaluate loudspeaker placement and coverage within the open floor plan.
The loudspeakers are powered by a Powersoft amplifier and mounted with Adaptive pipe-and-plate hardware, helping the system provide useful output while maintaining a clean installation.
Kids-Area Video Wall
Outside the kids check-in area, Qohr installed a 2x2 video wall using four 55-inch LG commercial displays. A Kramer video-wall processor and SpinetiX media player allow the displays to operate as one large canvas or present coordinated content in multiple layouts.
The system was also planned with a future LED option in mind, giving Mannahouse a path to change the display technology later without starting the design process from zero.
The Result
Mannahouse now has coordinated visuals and audio throughout key gathering spaces beyond the sanctuary. The lobby LED wall provides a high-impact visual surface, the distributed audio system delivers more consistent coverage, and the kids video wall supports clear, flexible content near check-in.
Most importantly, the systems can be managed as one connected environment instead of a collection of unrelated screens and speakers.
